New York City Marathon

BigJoe coffee boxes were installed for pre-race service at three different color-coded stations at the Staten Island starting point. This was the second year in a row the boxes had been used by the New York Road Runners Club for this premier event – a cost-effective, equal performance substitute for Cambro Camtainers. A total of 1200 pre-assembled units were delivered to Staten Island, with hot coffee filling starting at 3:20 am. The 3-gallon bag-in-box units are filled by high-speed brewing machines at the rate of about one box every 90 seconds.

"Coffee-Mate Half & Half" Nestle Product Promotion

Coordinated by The Eleven Agency, 3-gallon coffee boxes were used in a new product promotional push in Manhattan. Boxes were used to dispense sample cups of hot coffee blended with a variety of Coffee-Mate Half & Half syrup flavors. 1,000 boxes were filled in the early morning hours, then trucked and staged for commuter product sampling by Nestle's “Moo Crew” at Grand Central Station, Penn Station and The Port Authority. Final consumer sampling was held mid-morning in Bryant Park.

Note the easy portability – Moo Crew member holds 25lbs. in each hand!
